Pastor Sampath Raja was the first born Son to Mrs & Apostle M. Rajendran. Apostle M. Rajendran is one of the great and powerful church leaders in India, founder and President of Good News Mission and the senior pastor of one of the large churches in India. Pastor Sampath grew up in the fear of the Lord with 4 brothers and two sisters. Pastor Sampath’s parents had dedicated all their children for God’s ministry and the call of the Lord was made clear to Pastor Sampath when he was 18 years old by a dramatic and supernatural encounter with the Lord. He then went to Southern Asia Bible College, India and completed his Bachelor of Theology (B.Th). When he was in his last year of B.Th, the Lord specifically called him to reach out to the young people in India. Therefore, he held “Power Youth Camps” where hundreds of young people were saved and called ministry. He also wanted to train those young people for the ministry and therefore he started Good News Mission Bible College where young people are trained for ministry in India even today (www.goodnewsmissionbiblecollege.org). Many churches have been planted in and around the city of Thirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India by the graduate of GNMBC.

 Pastor Sampath was also the associate Pastor with his father at GNM church which has membership of 3000+. He also completed Master of Divinity (M.Div) at Asia Theological Assoication, India. God gave him a wonderful wife Mrs Jemimah Judith Sampath, whose parents (Mrs & Bishop Samuel Innocent, founder and president of Bethany fellowship and Senior Pastor of Bethany church with the membership of 3500+, Erode, Tamil Nadu, India) also serve the Lord. In 1998 Ps Sampath came to Australia to pursue his further theological studies at Bible college of Victoria. During that time he and his wife were reaching out to people in need with the Good News of Jesus Christ and people were saved, healed and delivered by the power of the Lord JESUS CHRIST. Meanwhile he completed his Master in theology (M.Th) and later Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). Though they came to study, the Lord had a plan to use them to touch the nation of Australia through different kinds of ministries. One of the profound ministry was the church ministry (Christian Revival Centre is one of the powerful and fast growing churches in Melbourne), reaching out to the people in Melbourne, Australia and around the World. The Lord has also blessed them with beautiful children, Justina and Jordan.

Since 1986 the Lord has been using Ps Sampath in a mighty way. His prophetical preaching, powerful worship and passionate prayers have blessed hundreds and thousands around the world. He is also a composer, song writer and singer.
